In the heart of Soho, JW Anderson’s flagship isn’t just a fashion store: it has become a modern cabinet of curiosities, where everything feels deeply personal and thoughtfully placed. What feels anonymous at first glance is actually intensely curated by Jonathan Anderson himself, a treasure trove combining clothes, craft, and culinary oddities.

Recently, Anderson has doubled down on his curatorial vision. In the 2025-2026 relaunch, the store leans into a lifestyle concept: not just clothes, but objects of craft, curated oddities, and everyday heirlooms. Think antique gardening tools, Murano glass, Lucie Rie mugs, Shaker-inspired furniture, honey from stately estates, even coffee-scented tea.

The whole space feels Japanese-minimal in spirit: restrained materials, quiet warmth, and a sense of calm intentionality. But unlike a sterile showroom, it’s deeply lived-in: textures feel warm, colours are muted but rich, and every object carries meaning.

Beautifully dressed tables and furniture are the stage of a colourful #christmas, where fashion and food merge harmoniously. The house showcases a full range of panettone, chocolates and wines displayed in multicolor boxes for some #eyecatching yet affordable presents. Showing that food is maybe on its way to become the new ‘lipstick’ of luxury?

Back to school… back to @lebonmarcherivegauche and its new #rockndrole exhibition, paying tribute to the legends of rock and roll. We liked how they played with sound (a sense that we see increasingly used in retail, and featured in our 2025 #retailtrends conference) at the #rockmotel: visitors put on headphones and walk through 10 bedrooms inspired by iconic rock stars, from the Rolling Stones to David Bowie, Prince, Dick Rivers, The Pretenders, Elvis, Les Rita Mitsouko, The Beatles, and more. When entering each room - carefully merchandised with objects recalling each rock star - the sound adapts to the visitor’s moves and location, making it an #immersive experience where one can simply let go and be seamlessly carried away. @antoinedecaunes, a French rock lover and TV presenter, curated the event, with the help of cartoonist ZEP @zep_official for the window displays. Running until October 19th.
